As you can see below, the deadline for Program Proposals for the 2015 ARLIS/NA Conference in Fort Worth (March 19-23) has been extended to Friday June 20, 2014.

We want Collection Development topics to be well represented at this conference.
Please use our new Blog as a forum to connect with members who share common ideas which could generate some great proposals.

Proposal formats include:
*20 minute papers
*60 minute sessions
*90 minute sessions
*Lightning Talks
*Pecha Kuchas (a presentation style in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each (six minutes and 40 seconds in total). The format, which keeps presentations concise and fast-paced.)
*Facilitated discussion/debates.

Consider submitting a proposal to https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ARLISNAPapers .

We look forward to hearing some buzz on the Blog that will inspire collection development related proposals for 2014.

Visualize the new frontier.

 Yes, we extended the deadline!

An extra week remains to submit your creative, imaginative, and speculative proposal ideas that will move us forward in 2015.

Where is art librarianship going, and how do we get there?

Look how far imagination moved the Old West! How far can our imagination travel?

Consider our future. Consider new presentation formats. Consider related ideas.
